The Cameron Grove community in Upper Marlboro is a peaceful retirement community with a variety of activities and comforts. Close to the center of it all is a complex which houses this condominium.
Security measures restrict access to the enclosed community. The condo building and its individual rooms are grand.
Crown molding surrounds the ceilings of the dwelling. In the dining area just past the bathroom, chair molding also adorns the walls. The hanging light fixture to illuminate the dining area has black designs and upturned glass shades for a classy look.
A raised counter separates the kitchen and dining area. The cabinets are hardwood, with earth tones on the counters and black appliances to complement the lighter colors of the rest of the space. At the end of the kitchen, a part of the counter is lowered to form a small desk. Just past this there is a door leading into a small laundry room with a washer and dryer. Additionally there is a pantry located at the front of the kitchen.
In the middle of the apartment, just before the front entrance is the living room. It's an open room leading into all the others. To one side, there is a gas fireplace with a wooden mantle surrounding it.
There is also a small sitting area separated from the living room by a set of square pillars. The sitting area is surrounded by tall windows, decorated with red trim to bring color to the room. They offer a view of the pool, tennis courts and duck pond below.
A room branching off of the space near the kitchen is one of the home's bedrooms, but could also be put into use as an office. It has a large double closet and a ceiling fan.
The master bedroom is somewhat larger than the other bedroom, but is also very similar with large windows lining the walls and a ceiling fan. There is also a private full bathroom attached, with a walk-in shower with a seat and a soaking tub set in tiles. Beyond the bathroom is a spacious walk-in closet with shelves all around.
The community offers many amenities for residents. There are the outdoor pool and tennis courts already mentioned, as well as walking/jogging trails throughout.
Additionally, the resort center located next to this unit's building houses a community room, a library, a gym, a billiards room, as well as an indoor pool to complement the outdoor one.
